Site Supervisor – Olifantsfontein/Clayville (Distribution/Logistic/Transport)
Reporting to Accounts Manager (07:00- 17:00)
Main Purpose is: To Represent the Company on Site by efficiently managing the costs & fleet. Ensuring that the client receives the best possible Delivery Services
Grade 12
2-5 Years relevant experience within the Fleet/Logistic/Transport Industry
Able to handle administrative procedures without supervision
Supervise & control staff attendance registers & absenteeism
Ensure that all drivers documentation are valid & updated – PDP’s, driver’s license & any endorsements
Ensure that optimal staff function is available on Site
Control the usage & issuing of PPE’s & uniforms on Site
Coordinate any Site requirements with Labour Broker & Key Account Manager
Monitor & checking of time sheets for correctness
Ensure that overall fleet condition meet requirements set out SEC Manual
Coordinate & control daily vehicle route planning (Loading & offloading, customer documentation handover & dispatching of drivers)
Ensure all documentary & outlined processes are adhered to (Accident Claims/Product Claims & Breakdowns
Liaise with Key Account Manager relating to all Operational Distribution activities
Conduct Customer/Driver training for on Site staff
Daily handover to Night-shift Supervisor when required
Supervise & coordinate pre-&-post trip vehicle inspection, Logbooks, Workshop bookings, COF’s & vehicle transfers
Control Ad-Hoc vehicle requirements
Ensure vehicle tracking is operational on all vehicles & defective units are booked into the workshop for repair
Ensure housekeeping is in order & the work place is clean & tidy at all times
Strong Admin Skills: Ensure the compilation of Operational Reports

Coordinate & Control Petty Cash

Supervise the Completion of Monthly Contracts & Billings
Customer Care/Services
- Build & Maintain Strong Client Relations
- Ensure that Client’s Levels are realized
- Supervise & Monitor all Customer required KPI’s & Service Levels to ensure targets are met
- Compile & Present any Customer required KPI’s, Reports, Operational Feedback & Operational Constraints
